UBS establishes partnerships with a university ranked in the world’s TOP 100 in education

Representatives of Macquarie University, one of Australia’s leading universities, visited the University of Business and Science (UBS).

During the meeting, our university was represented by Chairman of the Supervisory Board Elyor Jumayev, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board Zufar Khurramov, and Deputy Director for Financial Affairs of the Tashkent Branch Azamat Abdurayimov. On behalf of Macquarie University, the meeting was attended by Kevin Hwan, Manager for Northeast Asia and Eurasian Countries; Anthony Cahalan, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Global Engagement; and Matt Monkhouse, Director for Eurasian Countries.

Located in Sydney, this university holds a strong position in business, IT, finance, and medical fields and ranks 130th in the QS World University Rankings.

During the official meeting, the following topics were extensively discussed:
— Student exchange and internship programs,
— Faculty development and research initiatives,
— Summer schools and other academic collaborations.

Additionally, the delegation met with students to introduce them to the Australian education system and study opportunities.

The representatives of Macquarie University acknowledged the university’s achievements, rapid progress, and international partnerships within a short period. They expressed their satisfaction with this collaboration and their willingness to contribute to the university’s further global development.

Collaborations with such prestigious universities will undoubtedly contribute to improving the quality of education at our institution and expanding knowledge exchange.
